We Are Building App MVPs To End The "Friends & Family" Fundraising B.S. For Black Founders
Updated: Dec 8, 2021
Telling Black founders to raise capital from friends and family isn't normally very helpful. We typically don't have friends and family who can give us the 💰 we need to launch our businesses. This Fed Reserve chart bears out this fact and shows median white family wealth is 8X median Black family wealth.

We will stand in the gap for Black ParentPreneurs and help them start their businesses.
Why?
Because doers gonna do!
The ParentPreneur Foundation is teaming up with Marie Roker-Jones, Co-Founder of Essteem, to build app prototypes for five Black ParentPreneurs to start, with a goal of building twenty-five apps total. With these apps, our community of entrepreneurs will be able to collect user feedback, present the apps to potential investors, and hopefully ease their path to investor funding and customer adoption.
Watch the video above to get an example of what the apps could look like when built.
If empowering Black ParentPreneurs, so they can leave a legacy for their beautiful Black children matters to you, please make a tax-deductible donation.
Every penny counts.
Ad astra. 🚀
