I'm excited to announce applications are now open for $1,000 grants for thirty Black ParentPreneurs!
Co-sponsored by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, this round of grants is specifically focused on telling the stories of the challenges Black entrepreneurs face when raising capital. So, if you've been trying to raise capital and it's been difficult, please apply. If you haven't tried to raise capital, no worries, we'll do another round of grants early next year and you can apply then.
What we do
At the ParentPreneur Foundation, we want Black ParentPreneurs to see themselves as great parents, as great partners or spouses, and as great entrepreneurs -- to see their children inspired to live a purposeful and prosperous life because of the choices their parents made.
We want to tell the story of the transformation of Black ParentPreneurs from struggle and loneliness to triumph and community.

The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center has been an invaluable partner for us, helping our community members increase their social capital, and get to the 💰 and other resources they need to expand their businesses.
A few months ago, they helped thirty of our members get featured on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square!

Our impact
We accomplished so much, so fast. This is our fifth round of $1K grants and makes $70K we gave away since we started last July with a $50,000 seed grant from Techstars co-founder and venture capitalist, Brad Feld.

How to apply for a $1K grant
Applications will close Friday, November 19th at 11:59 pm ET, and the winners will be announced Monday, November 22nd inside the foundation community and on social media.
These $1,000 grants are intended to be a symbol of hope and inspiration. In order to be eligible for a grant, you need to join our free online community. Applications from our premium group members will receive priority consideration.
